Mother-son murder: Husband-2nd wife remanded

Staff Correspondent: A Dhaka court has placed Abdul Karim and his second wife Sharmin Mukta on six-day remand each in mother-son killing in the capital's Kakrail.

Judge Kurshid Alam of Dhka Metropolitan Magistrate Court passed the order after hearing in the case on Friday.

Deceaded Shamsunnahar's brother Ashraf filed a case with Ramna Police Station over the incident on Thursday night.

Abdul Karim, his second wife Sharmin Mukta and Mukta's brother Jony were sued in the case.

Shamsunnhar, 46, fist wife of Karim, and her son Shaon, 19, were slaughtered by unknown miscreants at 79/1, Kakrail in the capital on Wednesday evening.
