HC now bans hydraulic horns across country

Staff Correspondent: The High Court (HC) imposed a ban on hydraulic horns across the country.
An HC bench comprising Justice Kazi Rezaul Haque and Justice Mohammad Ullah passed the order on Sunday.
Lawyer Manzi Morshed moved for the petitioner in the case.
Earlier on October 8, the High Court ordered vehicle owners and drivers in Dhaka to surrender their hydraulic horns to local police stations within 15 days.
The High Court issued a ruling on August 23, banning the horns in Dhaka after a writ petition.
The use of hydraulic horns is in violation of Motor Vehicles Ordinance, as it creates noise pollution.
