SK Sinha's rejoining is far cry, AG reiterates

Staff Correspondent: Attorney General Mahbubey Alam again said that Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha's rejoining office after returning to home is a far cry.

The Attorney General made the opinion while addressing a press conference at his office in the Supreme Court on Sunday.

"There is no guaranty that the chief justice will be able to observe his duty on his return. Observing his [chief justice] duty will be far cry if his colleague judges at the Appellate Division refrain from sitting on the same bench with him," the attorney general said.

Earlier on October 14, the Attorney General expressed the same opinion over Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha's rejoining office.
