Over 200 organizations seek registration as election observer

Staff Correspondent: More than 200 organizations have applied to the Election Commission (EC) for their registration as election observer.

After proper scrutiny, the commission will give registration to the eligible organizations for next five years, according to EC sources on Wednesday.

Earlier, the commission issued a notification seeking applications from interested election observing organizations for their registration. Time for the application ended yesterday.
