Worker electrocuted in capital

Staff Correspondent: A construction worker was electrocuted in the capital's Chankharpul area on Saturday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Babu alias Sumon, 20.

Workers said that Sumon worked in fourth floor of the under construction building of Sheikh Hasina Burn and Plastic Surgery unit Bhaban. He came in contact of live electric cable during shut a welding machine this afternoon.

Later, he was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he died under treatment. 

Confirming the matter, Dhaka Medical College Hospital outpost in-charge Bacchu Mia said that the body was kept at the hospital morgue.
