Laxmipur ADC, Executive Magistrate summoned

Staff Correspondent: The High Court (HC) summoned the additional deputy commissioner (ADC) of Laxmipur and Executive Magistrate to appear before it to explain the actual situation of the brawl between a former acting civil surgeon and ADC.

A bench of Justice Kazi Reza-Ul Haque and Justice Mohammad Ullah passed the order on Tuesday.

The court also ordered them to appear before the court at 10:30am on December 13.

Barrister A B M Altaf Hossain and Hasan M S Azim moved for the petitioner.

Earlier on December 4, a mobile court conducted by Laxmipur Sadar Executive Magistrate Nuruzzaman at deputy commissioner's office sentenced Salahuddin over a brawl with the district's additional deputy commissioner (general) Murshidul Islam when they went at Kakoli Kindergarten School in the town to pick up their grandson and son. Later, police sent Salahuddin to jail.
