'Bangladesh role model of women empowerment'

Staff Correspondent: The new Resident Coordinator of the United Nations in Bangladesh Mia Seppo said "Bangladesh is the role model of women empowerment. A good number of women participation in the national parliament and administration is inspiring."

Mia Seppo said this while addressing a meeting with the Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in Dhaka on Tuesday.

During the meeting, they discussed various issues including, achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, law enacting process in the parliament, women empowerment and training activities of parliament secretariat staff.
