Mayor Annisul’s qulkhwani Wednesday

Staff Correspondent: The qulkhwani of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) mayor Annisul Huq will be held tomorrow after Asr prayers at Azad Mosque in the capital’s Gulshan area.

AKM Mizanur Rahman, assistant personal secretary of the mayor, confirmed this to risingbd on Tuesday.

Mizanur Rahman requested all relatives, colleagues and well-wishers of Annisul Huq to join the programme in time and pray for departed soul of him.

Mr Huq was admitted to National Neuroscience Hospital on August 13 after he became sick due to various neurological problems (dizziness and lack of balance) during his London visit, which started on July 29.

He breathed his last at 10:30pm Bangladesh time at Wellington Hospital at the age of 65 on November 30. His wife Rubana Huq, two daughters and his only son were at his side.
