'3 new ministers, one state minister take oath'

Secretariat Correspondent: Three new ministers and one state minister has taken oath today, just a year left the parliament will go on general election.

The oath taking ceremony was held at the Bangabhaban on Tuesday evening. However, the offices for the new ministers could not be known immediately.

After the oath, cabinet division will issue a gazette distributing offices for the new ministers.

According to sources, AKM Shahgahan Kamal, lawmaker from Laxmipur-3, Keramat Ali, a four-time MP and the chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on government assurances, and Narayon Chandra Chanda, State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock, made full ministers.

Mustafa Jabbar, president of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services, best known for being the creator of software Bijoy, was also included in the cabinet, the sources said.
