Writ filed seeking recount votes of RpCC polls

Staff Correspondent: A writ petition has been filed to the High Court (HC) over seeking recount votes of Rangpur City Corporations (RpCC) polls recently held.

BNP nominated mayoral candidate Kawsar Zaman Babla filed the petition.

The HC bench led by Justice M Moazzem Hossain fixed Sunday for its verdict after hearing on the petition on Thursday.

Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokon stood for the petitioner in the court.
