19th session of JS begins today

Secretariat Correspondent: The 19th session of the 10th Parliament will resume after a 45-day recess.
The Jatiya Sangsad (JS) will begin today at 4:00pm. It will be the first JS session of 2018.
President Abdul Hamid summoned the session on December 20, 2017 exercising the power bestowed upon him as per clause (1) of article 72 of the constitution.
The President will deliver his speech on the first day. The business advisory committee of parliament will meet with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair to fix the duration and businesses of the session.
