Nomination paper handed over to Abdul Hamid

Staff Correspondent: The nomination paper for the 21st presidential election has been handed over to President Md Abdul Hamid.

A delegation led by Chief Whip in the Parliament ASM Feroz handed over the nomination paper to President Md Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Friday.

Earlier, Chief Whip ASM Feroz on behalf of the President collected the nomination paper around 11.30am from Election Commission Secretariat at Agargaon in the city.

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda, acting Secretary of Election Commission Helaluddun Ahmed and other officials were present at the office.

Parliament Whips Shahiduzzaman, Iqbalur Rahim and Mohammad Shahabuddin and Awami League leader Riajul Kabir Kawsar were also present at the time.
