Fire at Baitul Mukarram market warehouse

Staff Correspondent: A fire broke out at a warehouse on the eastern godown of the Baitul Mukarram Mosque in the capital on Friday noon.
The fire fighters brought the blaze under control after 40 minutes effort.
Inspector Shahed Ali of fire service civil defense control room said the fire erupted around 1:10pm at a godown of the market. Later, on information, five fire units doused the fire around 1:50pm.
The reason behind the fire and estimated damages could not be known immediately, he added.
