‘No fire breaks out at Baitul Mukarram Mosque’

Senior Correspondent: Islamic Foundation protested of the reports published on social networking sites and different media that Baitul Mukarram National Mosque caught fire on Friday.

A press release signed by Nizam Uddin, public relations officer (PRO) of Islamic Foundation came up with the protest note on Friday afternoon.

The protest note said, “The news found on several media and social networking sites after Juma prayers that Baitul Mukarram Mosque catches fire was not true. We are protesting of the reports.”

“In fact, no fire broke out at Baitul Mukarram Mosque, the market set up on its ground floor or any establishment of the mosque. But the fire erupted at some goods left by footpath hawkers inside boundary wall of the mosque which happened before the prayer,” the press release revealed.
