Fighting against corruption main challenge

Secretariat Correspondent: State Minister for Post and Telecommunication Tarana Halim said fighting against corruption on the way of development is the main challenge for the government.

The minister made the assertion while replying to a question of newsmen at secretariat on Tuesday noon.

She said, "Corruption is the main challenge on the way of development. The development will be faster if the corruption can be removed."

"Political stability is needed on the context of development. That’s why assistance from all parties is needed," she said.

Tarana Halim also said, "The incumbent government has completed almost every election assurances. Bangladesh is role model of development now. The development doesn’t take place in a day. It was possible due to the continuation of the government."
