19 organisations secure final approval for election observation

Staff Correspondent: The Election Commission has given final approval to 119 local non-government voluntary organisations for observation of the election all over the country.

Joint Secretary (PR) at the EC Secretariat SM Asaduzzaman signed the approval letter on Wednesday.

According to EC sources, the 119 organsations were given approval till 2023 after verification.

A total of 199 organisations submit applications for registration within the deadline of November 7, 2017. Of them, 120 organisations were primarily selected. Later, 119 were given final approval after verification.
