Cabinet okays proposed budget for 2018-19

Desk Report: The cabinet in its special meeting on Thursday approved the national budget of over Tk 464,000 crore for the fiscal year 2018-19.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presided over the meeting held in the cabinet room of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban in the city.
The cabinet also endorsed the Appropriation (supplementary) Bill-2018 and the Appropriation Bill-2018.
Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith and other ministers and state ministers concerned attended the meeting.
