Country's gas reserve 39.9 TCF

Parliament Correspondent: The country's current gas reserve is 39.9 TCF (trillion cubic feet) of which 27.76 TCF is extractable, said State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid Bipu.

The minister said this replying to a written question raised by reserved seat MP Fazilatunnessa Bappi in the parliament sessions on Thursday.

Hamid said the estimated gas production was 15.22 since 1960 to December, 2017. As a result, the extractable net gas reserve in January of the current year was 12.54 TCF.
