RAB raids Max Hospital in Chattogram

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: A RAB mobile court has started raid in Max Hospital following the death of journalist Rubel Khan's three-year-old daughter Raifa Khan due to alleged wrong treatment and medical negligence.

A team led by RAB Executive Magistrate Sarwar Alam began the raid around 11:00am on Sunday.

Confirming the matter, Mimtanur Rahman, assistant director (media) of RAB-7, told risingbd.com, "Our raid is still going on. Details will be disclosed through press briefing. The drive is underway in some other private hospitals also. The representatives from health department joined the raid."

Earlier, Raifa Khan, 3, daughter of Rubel Khan died due to wrong treatment at the private hospital in the port city in the early morning of June 29.
