CSCR Hospital fined Tk 4 lakh

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: A mobile court of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive fined Tk 4 lakh to private CSCR Hospital in OR Nizam Road after finding huge irregularities on Sunday.

The mobile court led by Rab Executive Magistrate Md Sarwoer Alam conducted the drive at the private hospital and fined on different charges including for using date-expired surgical equipments.

Earlier, the mobile court in a drive fined Tk 10 lakh to private ‘Max Hospital and Diagnostics Limited’ after finding huge irregularities.

The mobile court also gave an ultimatum of 15 days to authority of the hospital, where daughter of Journalist Rubel Khan died allegedly due to wrong treatment and negligence by doctors, to address the irregularities.
