Drivers having licence stand at 18.69 lakh

Parliament Correspondent: Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said a total of 34,98,620 vehicles were registered till June 30, 2018. Of them, 22,6,155 vehicles are motorcycle. The number of drivers having licence is 18,69,816 against these registered vehicles.

The minister came up with the information while replying to a starred question made by ruling party lawmaker M Abdul Latif in the Jatiya Sangsad on Tuesday.
