Oishee`s parents killed by friends at her order

DHAKA, 18: Daughter Oishee`s friends killed her father Special Branch Inspector Mahfuzur Rahman and wife Swapna Rahman, said detectives investigating the case.

The Detective Branch of police arrested eight persons including Oishee`s friend Trisha and maid Shumi. Security guards of Oishee`s apartment Motaleb and Shahin, detained on Friday, were shown arrested in the case.

Besides, manager Amzad of the house was arrested on Saturday evening.

A number of detective teams under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of DB Jahangir Alam Matbar  arrested them from different parts of the capital. The arrested were later taken to the DB office at Minto Road where they were being questioned.

Sources at the Detective Branch told www.risingbd.com that Oishee and Trisha were present during the murder of Mahfuzur and his wife. Apart from Oishee and Trisha, two more persons were involved in the murders.

Spoiled Oishee`s father kept her daughter confined to the house over the last one month. She had become drug addicted and used to reach the house late at night along with her friends. Father Mahfuz also used to beat her frequently as she became drug addicted and spoiled. Over this incident, Oishee along with her friends planned to kill Mahfuz and his wife.
Oishee went into ‘hiding’ ever since her parents bodies were recovered on Friday from a bathroom.  She walked into Paltan Police Station Saturday noon and surrendered to a duty officer.

Later, taking her along, a team of detectives has launched an operation that led to the nabbing of four others. They were then taken to Detective Branch office at Minto Road.

Oishee was a `O` Level student of Oxford International School at Dhanmondi.
