Bomb hurled at C’nawabganj SP’s residence

CHAPAINWABGANJ, Aug 18: Miscreants have hurled crude bombs at the residence of Chapainawabganj Superintendent of Police on Saturday night.
However, luckily nobody was injured in the attack.
Police Super Bashir Ahmed said two youths riding a motorbike came in front of his official residence around 10:45 and hurtled three crude bombs at the house that broke windowpanes.
When the security guards chased the criminals and opened fire on them they fled the scene abandoning their motorbike and helmet.
Police recovered three more unexploded bombs, a motorbike and a helmet from near the residence of the SP.
Police said they have started drive to nab the miscreants.
