Owner of Moghbazar bus which kills man remanded

Staff Correspondent: A Dhaka court has placed owner of Dhaka-Satkhira plying SP Golden Line bus which killed a man at the capital’s Moghbazar on Friday on remand for a day.
The convict was known as Junayed Hossain Laskar.
Dhaka’s Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Asaduzzaman Noor passed the order after hearing in the case on Sunday.
Investigation Officer (IO) of the case Mizanur Rahman, also Sub-Inspector (SI) of Ramna Model Police Station, produced him before the court and sought a seven-day remand for him.
Accroding to the remand plea, driver Imran Hossain took 10 to 15 passengers in the bus from Kalyanpur of the capital and reached Moghbazar. There he rammed a motorcycle, leaving its rider Saiful Islam seriously injured. Later, he succumbed to his injuries at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH). Imran drove the bus recklessly to happen accident in an aiming of instigation in the ongoing student movement. So, to uncover the mystery behind the incident, he needs to be remanded for seven days.
Later, the judge passed a one-day remand for him.
Meanwhile, driver Imran was also placed on a two-day remand on Friday.
