89,958 hajj pilgrims arrive Saudi Arabia

Staff Correspondent: A total of 89,958 Bangladeshi hajj pilgrims have arrived successfully in Saudi Arabia in government and private management.

Of them, 4,761 pilgrims went Mecca under government management and 85,197 under private management.

In a special hajj bulletin from Ministry of Religious Affairs confirmed this today.

A total of 131 flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines and 136 flights of Saudi Arabian Airlines have so far ferried the pilgrims to Saudi Arabia marking the holy hajj this year.

According to the hajj bulletin, 21 hajj pilgrims have died in Saudi Arabia.

This year, a total of 1,26,798 persons will go to Saudi Arabia for performing hajj. Of them, 6,798 will perform hajj under government management while 1,20,000 under private management.
