Hajj flight with 414 pilgrims off to Jeddah from Sylhet

Staff Correspondent, Sylhet: This year's first Hajj flight from Sylhet carrying 414 pilgrims left Osmani International Airport on Friday for Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The direct hajj flight (BG-1038) from Sylhet left the airport at 11:35pm.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister AKM Shahjahan Kamal inaugurated the flight officially.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines sources said that another flight will leave from Sylhet on August 13.
Earlier, operation of direct hajj flight from was inaugurated on the route in 2007.
