Mother gives birth to four-baby in Rangpur

Staff Correspondent: A woman gave birth to four babies at a private hospital in Rangpur on Friday.

Hospital sources said Hasina Aktar Popi delivered two baby boys and two girls at around 2:30pm after a successful operation.

Mostakin Rahman Shishir, elder brother of Hasina Aktar, said his sister got married to Mohsin Ali in 2010. “In their eight-year conjugal life, this is the first time she gave birth to the babies,” Shishir added.

The babies and their mother are doing fine, the doctor Laila Hasana Banu said.
