Drug trader hacked to death in Kaliakoir

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: A drug trader named Ujjol Hossain, 25, has been hacked to death by his rivals in the district’s Kaliakoir upazila.

The incident took place on Friday night in Papaya Orchard area of Andarmanik.Ujjol Hossain was the son of Rustom Kha in Mothbaria Thana of Pirojpur district, and he would reside in Loskarchala area of Gazipur City Corporation.

According to police and locals, two groups of drug traders locked in clash over their business and one stage a group hacked Ujjal indiscriminately, leaving his dead on the spot.

Later, police recovered the dead body.
