Finance Ministry agrees to give Tk99cr to Moon Cinema Hall

Staff Correspondent: The Finance Ministry has agreed to provide Tk99 crore to the owner of Moon Cinema Hall.

Attorney General Mahbube Alam informed the issue to the appellate division bench led by Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain on Monday morning.

Attorney General said that the Ministry of War of Liberation will provide the money to Bangladesh Italian Marble Works Ltd after getting money from the finance ministry.

The court asked the Liberation War Affairs Ministry to pay the money to the Moon Cinema Hall owner by December 8.

On January 18, this year, the apex court ordered Freedom Fighters’ Welfare Trust and its managing director to pay the money in three installments to the owner of Moon Cinema Hall.
