Oikyafront sends letter to PM to complete dialogue

Senior Correspondent: Jatiya Oikyafront chief Dr Kamal Hossain has sent letter to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina seeking second phase dialogue to complete the incomplete discussion.
Gono Forum presidium member Jaglul Haider took the letter to the Awami League president's office in Dhanmondi around 12:00pm on Sunday. Meanwhile, two more Gono Forum leaders AHM Shafiq Ullah and Mostak Ahmed accompanied him.
Awami League office assistants Alauddin and BM Masudul Hasan received the letter.
Aiming the Prime Minister, Dr Kamal Hossain wrote, “On that day, you said the discussion would continue. Based on that, we, on behalf of Jatiya Oikyafront, are interested to sit in talks again on emergency basis to complete the incomplete discussion. In this case, a limited-scale discussion involving experts from both sides is necessary for analysing the constitutional and legal aspects of the (seven) points.”
Earlier on November 20, a 20-member team of Oikyafront participated in a talks with Awami League led 14-party alliance at Ganabhaban. After the dialogue, Dr Kamal Hossain said they did not find any specific solution while BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam said, “We are not satisfied.”
