Couple burnt in city gas cylinder blast

Staff Correspondent: A couple has been burnt as a gas cylinder blasted in city’s Mohammadpur area.

The victims are – Saiful Islam, 33 and Shajana Begum, 25.

Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) police outpost in-charge SI Bacchu Mia told risingbd.com that the both victims are critical as most of their body parts have been burnt.

Md. Ekhlas, younger brother of Saiful Islam said the explosion took place this morning. However, the reason behind the gas cylinder explosion could not be known yet.
