EC rejects Khaleda’s all 3 nominations

Staff Correspondent: The Election Commission (EC) has rejected all three appeals of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia filed against the rejection of her nominations for Feni-1, Bogura-6 and Bogura-7 constituencies.

The commission on Saturday delivered its order despite another Election Commissioner Mahbub Talukder granted all the three appeals filed by Khaleda challenging the decisions of returning officers over the rejection of her nomination papers.

Khaleda’s lawyers, Mohammad Ali, Joynal Abedin and Mahmud Bin Khokon appeared before the commission for her appeal hearing.
