Father, son among 3 killed in Sirajganj road crash

Sirajganj Correspondent: At least three people, including a man and his son, have been killed as a pickup van collided with a truck in Jhaoil over bridge area on Dhaka-Rajshahi highway in Sirajganj early Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Idris Ali, 60 and his son Monju Hossain, 28 and pickup driver Razu Hossain, 27.

Mahbubur Rahman, Sub-Inspector of Bangabandhu Bridge West police station said, Tangail-bound a fruits laden pickup van collided with a truck in the area, leaving the three people dead on the spot. 

On information, fire service recovered the bodies and sent to Bangamat Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib General Hospital morgue.
