Convening body formed for promoting pry education

Secretariat Correspondent: A convening committee comprising 12 members has been formed to formulate the work plan of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education (MoPME) in the light of election manifesto-2018 and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

A meeting regarding the matter was held on Thursday with MoPME Secretary Md Akram-Al-Hossain in the chair, according to a ministry source.

MoPME additional secretary (admin) Ghulam Mohammad Hasibul Alam has been made the convener of the committee, the source said.

The committee has been asked to prepare a draft of the work plan and submit it to the secretary of the ministry within January 15, it added.
