Bullet-hit body of drug trader found in Cox’s Bazar

Cox’s Correspondent: Police on Wednesday recovered the bullet-hit body of a drug trader from Kalatoli Kata Pahar area of Cox's Bazar.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Jahangir, 25, son of Mohammad Farid alias Daroyan Fakir.

Police said the drug trader was wanted in three drug cases, two mugging, two robbery and a murder case.

Cox’s Bazar Sadar police station OC Khandakar Farid Uddin said noticing the dead body in the area, locals informed police station. Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital. Meanwhile, 200 pieces of Yaba pills, a gun and two rounds of bullets were also recovered from the spot.
