Ilias Ali is alive!

DHAKA, Aug 27: Joint Office Secretary of BNP Asadul Karim Shahin believes that missing BNP leader Ilias Ali is still alive and he is detained in an Indian jail.

Asadul Karim Shahin wrote this in an official letter on Saturday that was sent to president and secretary of Habiganj District BNP.

 

The official letter containing different organizational activities also mentioned that “we expect that Ilias Ali will return to his party men and people”.

 

Earlier, Askir Ali, younger brother of Ilias Ali, claimed that, “We have information from various sources that Ilias Ali is still alive and he is detained in a jail near Damdam of India.”

 

He claimed this with strong conviction in a live program on Channel I’s London Straight Dialogue recently.
