Road crash kills 3 in city

Staff Correspondent: Three people, including an unidentified woman, were killed in separate road accidents in Malibagh-Mouchak and Progoti Sarani road areas in the capital on Tuesday morning.

The deceased were identified as security guard Kabir Hossain, 45, Tea-stall owner Shahin, 42, and an unidentified woman, 40.

Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police outpost inspector Bacchu Mia said an unidentified woman, aged around 40, was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in the morning. She appeared to have been hit by a vehicle at Mouchak-Malibagh intersection. Later, duty doctor declared her dead around 7:00am.

Bhatara police station sources said Badda-bound a passenger bus ploughed through the stall in area, leaving Shahin and security guard Kabir dead on the spot.
