Freedom fighter shot dead in Pabna

Pabna Correspondent: A freedom fighter named Mustafizur Rahman Selim, 62, was shot dead by miscreants in the district on Wednesday night.

The incident took place around 9.00pm at Ruppur village under Pakshi union of Ishwardi upazila.

He was the former general secretary of Pakshi union unit of Awami League.

According to sources, miscreants attacked him when he was returning home from Ruppur BBC Bazar.

He was immediately taken to Ishwardi Upazila Health Complex. He died on way to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
