6 held with 2.4 lakh Yaba from picnic bus

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested six people along with 2.4 lakh Yaba tablets from a picnic bus near Karnaphuli Shah Amanat Bridge early Saturday.

Members of Rab-7 on secret information raided the bus and seized the Yaba tablets.

The bus was going to Cox’s Bazar from Jessore.

The arrestees are Md Atiar Rahman, 55, Md Masud Rana, 31, Md Babul, 47, Md Iqbal Hossain, 37, Md Juel, 39, and Md Aminur Rahman Sumon, 23.
They hail form Jessore, Rajshahi and Satkhira districts.
