There is no scope to stuff ballot boxes with EVM: CEC

Staff Correspondent: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda has said that no fake voter can cast their votes with the EVMs and no one can stuff ballot boxes before the stipulated time.

He said this at a training programme organized for trainers for the fifth Upazila Parishad Election at Agargaon in the capital on Friday morning.

CEC said “In the society, irregularities come one after another and we have to take steps to prevent those. Now EVM system has been introduced and it will stop stuffing ballot boxes before the stipulated time”.
