Home Minister inaugurates PSB project at Dohar

Staff Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan inaugurated a four-storey academic cum residential building of Progressive Society of Bangladesh (PSB) at Dohar in Dhaka recently.
The building was constructed with financial support of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment of the United Arab Emirates.
The building will be used by the orphans of Al-Hanan Orphanage conducted by Society for Islamic Training Center Bangladesh (SITCB).
Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Bangladesh Saed Mohammed Al-Muhairi, Chief of the Foreign Affairs Department Saleh Ali Abdullah, Secretary General of PSB Dr. Gazi Md Jahirul Islam, SITCB Director Moulana Md Abdul Quddus, Dhaka Police Super Shah Safiur Rahman Mizan and Dohar UNO Afroza Akhter Reba were also present.
In his speech, the home minister thanked the UAE government and agency for establishing such kind of beautiful structure in Bangladesh.
He also urged the UAE government and agency to support more for the socio-economic development in Bangladesh.
Major General (retd) Professor Dr. A R Khan, former caretaker government advisor and chief consultant of BIRDEM General Hospital, presided over the programme.
