‘Special helicopter to be purchased for fire service’

Senior Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said a special kind of helicopter will be purchased for fire service to extinguish fire and rescue the endangered people.

“The Honourable Prime Minister has a special plan on the fire service and we are working as per her plan. A special kind of helicopter will be purchased for fire service so that fire can be extinguished and the endangered people can be rescued,” Asaduzzaman told journalists after a meeting at his office in the capital on Wednesday.

“Our fire service has capability to tackle dreadful fire incidents which everybody has witnessed in the FR Tower fire at Banani in the capital. They have carried out rescue operation risking their lives,” he said.
