Fireman Sohel taken to Singapore

Staff Correspondent: Fire service worker Sohel Rana who was injured while extinguishing the blaze at FR Tower in the capital’s Banani area has been taken to Singapore by an air ambulance on Friday evening.
Confirming the matter to risingbd, Kamrul Ahsan, duty officer of the fire service headquarters, said, “The air ambulance carrying Sohel left Dhaka for Singapore at 6:50 pm. He will undergo treatment there.”
Earlier, Sohel was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
On March 28, a devastating fire was originated at FR Tower in the capital’s Banani that left 26 people killed and many others injured.
