3 burnt as house catches fire from leaked gas

Staff Correspondent: Three people of a family suffered burns in a fire caused by a leaky gas pipe at their house in Fatulla of Narayanganj on Saturday night.

The injured are- Fatema Begum, 35, her three children Safwan, 5, Faria, 9 and Rafi, 11.

Kadamtoli police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Saju Mia said that the fire originated in third floor of a building in the area around 8:30pm. Later, the burnt injured were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Fatema suffered 94 percent burns, Safwan 97 percent and Rafi 98 percent, said residential doctor of DMCH burn unit.
