Key accused held in case for piercing youth’s legs with drill

Staff Correspondent: Police arrested the main accused in a case filed for piercing the knees of a young man with drill machine for not paying extortion in Chandgaon in Chattogram. 

The arrested is Mohammad Jalal, 30, of Shamsher Nagar area of Chandgaon in Chattogram.

Earlier, a case was filed against eight people and unidentified 10/15 more for piercing knees of a young man with a drill machine. Later, the law enforcers started special drive to detain the criminals.

Abul Bashar Bhuiyan, officer-in-charge of Chandgaon police station said, the criminals pierced the legs of the victims in front of his father failing to get extortion.

Following the incident, Mohammad Azim, father of the victim filed the case. The accused are – Jalal, Rashed, Nishan, Didar, Millat, Hasib, Bappi and Sujon.
