Mother injured in N’ganj gas fire dies

Staff Correspondent: Another victim of the house fire in Narayanganj's Fatullah succumbed to her injuries, raising the death toll to two.

The deceased was identified as Fatema Begum, 35. She died around 8:00am at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital burn unit on Monday.

Earlier, the victim’s son Safwan died under treatment on Sunday night.

Confirming the matter, Dhaka Medical College Hospital outpost In-charge Bacchu Mia said that Fatema suffered burns over 98 percent of her body in the fire.

On Saturday night, four people of a family suffered burns in a fire caused by a leaky gas pipe at their house in Fatulla of Narayanganj.
