Karnaphuli boat capsize: 2 bodies recovered

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: Bodies of two persons, among the three who went missing in a boat capsize in Karnaphuli river, have been recovered.

With the help of local people, police recovered the bodies from Naval berth-1 area under EPZ thana on Tuesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Akbar, son of Nurul Islam at Dangarchar, and Hanif, son of Abdul Khalek of the same area.

Three men had gone missing after a launch hit the boat and sank it. The third person, Habib, is yet to be found.
