Holidaymakers returning to Dhaka after Eid

Staff Correspondent: Holidaymakers have begun returning to the capital Dhaka after celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr with their near and dear ones in their town and village homes.
After visiting different bus and launch terminals in the capital, it is seen that people are coming back to the capital after celebrating the Eid. The buses are carrying thousands of passengers who are getting down at different inter-district bus terminals like Gabtoli, Mohakhali and Sayedabad, while Sadarghat is teeming with the passengers of launches and steamers from the southern part of the country.
Priyoti Jannat, who was returning from Chattogram to Sayedabad, told risingbd.com that: “I came back again to the capital after celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr with my near and dear ones. I made a very fine journey. I faced no problem. There was no traffic congestion.”
Moinuddin Sarker, who was returning from Sylhet, said, “I returned to Dhaka after spending Eid-ul-Fitr holidays with my family members. I have made a safe return journey. The road was free from traffic congestion.”
Amirul Islam Joy, returning from Satkhira, said, “I returned safe to Dhaka after passing Eid-ul-Fitr holidays with my family members. I made a very comfortable return journey. There was no schedule collapse. I faced no trouble to get ferry service.”
