19 districts get new DCs

Secretariat Correspondent: In a major reshuffle in the field level civil administration, the government has appointed new deputy commissioners to 19 districts.

Public Administration Ministry, in line with the directives of the president, on Tuesday afternoon issued a notification to make the decision effective immediately. 

The districts are- Gazipur, Faridpur, Pabna, Gopalganj, Mymensingh, Narayanganj, Munshiganj, Rajshahi, Baherhat, Jashore, Moulvibazar, Sirajganj, Rajbari, Jhalakathi, Naogaon, Lalmonirhat, Nilphamari, Rangpur and Barguna.
