Fisheries officer held while taking bribe

Staff Correspondent: A five-member team of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) in a drive arrested Md Rezaul Karim, a Dinajpur upazila fisheries officer, while taking bribe worth Tk 2 lakh.

He was arrested while taking a cheque of Tk 2 lakh as bribe at his office in Dinajpur around 1:00 pm on Tuesday.

ACC's Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter.
